We offer a complete range of Commercial and Residential services including design, construction, renovations, and solutions to building problems. With over 35 years construction experience, we are able to guide you through the entire construction process; from listening to your vision, to working with you to develop a plan that will meet your singular needs and budget, through the building process and selection of finishes, and finally, to delivery of your finished product. Paul Blanchard
Owner and Founder
With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Paul Blanchard is a dedicated general contractor and business owner who takes pride in delivering exceptional results for every project. Throughout his career, Paul has cultivated a deep passion for his work, finding great satisfaction in the challenges and rewards that come with building quality structures.Paul began his career while attending the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he joined Hutchens Builders, a respected framing and trim subcontractor. Under the mentorship of Harold Hutchens, Paul not only honed his technical skills in custom framing and trim carpentry, but also learned the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and taking pride in every detail of the job. This experience laid the foundation for his successful career in construction.
In 1998, Paul transitioned to R.V. Buric Construction Consultants, a national engineering consulting firm, where he specialized in building diagnostics. Over the course of nine years, he conducted numerous forensic investigations, performed building code reviews, and authored hundreds of detailed reports. His experience with building science was further refined through the guidance of Professional Engineers Ron Wright and Drew Brown.
Paul's next career steps included roles as a Project Manager for Bluewater Structures, a custom residential contractor in the Carolina Beach area, and later Adams Southeastern Construction, a commercial and high-end residential general contracting firm based in Wilmington. These roles expanded his management expertise, business acumen, and understanding of both residential and commercial construction.
In 2016, Paul founded his own construction company with the goal of delivering the highest levels of quality and customer service. Combining his wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for the industry, Paul is committed to providing clients with expert construction solutions that exceed expectations.

Ken Webb
Superintendent
Ken Webb, originally from Covington, GA, is a dedicated and skilled member of the Blanchard Building & Design team. A ten-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, Ken served as a Sergeant, where he developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. His military experience, combined with his background in electronics, has provided him with a unique skill set that adds value to every project.Ken joined Blanchard Building & Design in October 2022, bringing with him a wealth of discipline and a commitment to excellence. He is currently working towards meeting the state qualifications to become a licensed contractor and another qualifier for Blanchard Building & Design LLC. We are thrilled to have Ken on our team and are confident that he will continue to grow and excel in his role.
Shelby Webb
Constuction Administrator
Shelby Webb is a highly talented and driven professional with a strong passion for the construction industry. Known for her intelligence and determination, Shelby demonstrated remarkable resilience during the challenging times of the pandemic. Her dedication to her craft led her to pursue and successfully obtain her real estate license, which she continues to maintain in good standing.
In 2024, Shelby joined Blanchard Building & Design LLC as our Construction Administrator. Since then, she has continually expanded her role and taken on increasing responsibilities, quickly becoming an indispensable asset to the company. What began as a support position has evolved into a critical function, contributing to the growth and success of our operations.
While I am proud to call Shelby my daughter, her professional accomplishments and commitment to excellence continue to inspire me every day. We are fortunate to have her as part of the team, and I look forward to seeing all that she will continue to achieve in the future.
